Sanjeev Patro
Associate Counsel
With a broadly based practice that encompasses such varied areas as civil claims, business disputes, builders liens, property matters, estates and trust litigation, and the prosecution of insurance claims, Sanjeev brings experience and depth to Magnus Law. He represents individuals and small to medium-sized businesses in all levels of court in British Columbia.
Sanjeev’s clients are as diverse as the clients of Magnus Law. He understands the stresses imposed by litigation and highly contentious disputes, and his goal is to find the most effective and efficient path to helping clients resolve difficult situations – even if that means proposing a way forward that does not entail traditional litigation.
Sanjeev has practiced in Vancouver, Surrey, and Langley in busy civil and commercial litigation practices for more than a decade. He attended the University of British Columbia where he received his Bachelor of Science in 1998, and his Bachelor of Laws in 2001. Prior to commencing his practice as a lawyer, Sanjeev clerked at the British Columbia Court of Appeal and then articled at one of Vancouver’s oldest and largest law firms. He has experience with and has appeared before all levels of court in the Province of B.C. and a variety of administrative tribunals. Sanjeev has also acted counsel for clients involved in both mediations and arbitrations.
